The role If you’ve ever wanted the opportunity to lead a service from the very beginning, rather than inherit someone else’s challenges, this role offers exactly that. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, or an established Registered Manager looking to establish and lead a brand-new children’s home from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people with emotional and behavioural needs or learning difficulties can thrive, while leading and developing a dedicated team.

This role offers the opportunity to help establish a brand-new service from day one. From helping shape the home environment to establishing a positive culture within the team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact as the service develops.

Homes are modern but homely, with space for activities and play. A maximum of two children are cared for per home, allowing you to provide highly personalised care and achieve meaningful outcomes. You’ll also have the opportunity to help create a home that truly reflects the individual needs of each young person, with a dedicated budget to furnish and personalise the environment in line with their individual preferences and requirements.

You will be supported by a strong leadership structure, including Deputy/Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Support Workers, giving you the resources and support needed to establish and lead a high-quality service from day one. What are we looking for We are looking for a Registered Manager who understands both the demands and rewards of leading a children’s home. Our managers are compassionate leaders who guide their teams to deliver high quality and meaningful care

You will receive comprehensive support from two Deputy Managers as well as our Responsible Individual Trevor and Operational Lead Mimi. You will also be supported by our in-house Recruitment and Onboarding Team who ensure full staffing without any reliance on agency staff.
